DMNP-EDTA (Caged Calcium)
Descrition & Target
DMNP-EDTA (also known as DM-Nitrophen) is a caged Ca<sup>2 </sup> chelator. Upon photolysis, the Kd for Ca<sup>2 </sup> increases from 5 nM to 3 mM, resulting in a pulse of free Ca<sup>2 </sup>.
