Descrition & Target
α‑Conotoxin TxID from Conus textile , a Novel α‑Conotoxin TxID from Conus textile That Potently Blocks Rat α3β4 Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptors. The α3β4 nAChR may be key targets of drugs to treat difficult miscellaneous diseases, such as addiction, chronic pain, obesity, cervical cancer and lung carcinoma etc. The α-conotoxin TxID has been fully folded and tested its activity on α3β4 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR) in our lab, which has activity on α3β4 nAChR. Selective α3β4 nAChR antagonists (TxID etc) can reduce nicotine self-administration in rats, demonstrating the role of the α3β4 nAChR in nicotine dependence and drug-seeking behavior. Product Size 1mg, 5mg, 10mg, 25mg, 100mg, 250mg, 500mg and 1gram
