CF® dye hydrazides are bright, water-soluble and nontoxic, making them excellent fixable polar tracers for microinjection into cells. Hydrazides can be used for labeling aldehyde or ketone groups, however, for this application we recommend using the more reactive CF® dye aminooxy forms.
